The American Repertory Theater / Moscow Art Theater School Institute (IATT)

Dear Colleagues:

I am pleased once again to introduce you to the graduating class of the American Repertory Theater/Moscow Art Theater School Institute for Advanced Theater Training at Harvard University. The goal of our training is to prepare our actors to work anywhere, in the broadest possible spectrum of work within our profession, having trained in a variety of styles and for a variety of media. While at the Institute they have studied Shakespeare and they have studied acting for the camera. They have acted in the works of a diverse group of writers covering a wide range of periods. They have performed in the American Repertory Theater’s Shakespeare Exploded festival and in our current festival, America: Boom, Bust, and Baseball as part of the inaugural season of our new Artistic Director, Diane Paulus. They have honed their craft, their instruments, and their will over the past two years. We hope you will see in them the same amount of talent, skill, and determination to make a mark on the profession as we do.

Sincerely,

Scott Zigler
